Development:
The Maplerose Panels are the work of a single artist. Pauline spent four years researching Canadian crests and emblems, compiling historical information, writing letters for the facts and verification, and preparing the information onto an embroidered presentation format. During the four years it took to create the 28 individual panels, the vast majority of that time was spent sewing the millions of stitches to create the fine detail of each of the crests, emblems and outstanding poetry which pays tribute to the magnificent Country of Canada within each panel.
No machine was ever used in the needlework, or at any stage of the creation of the wall hangings. Each panel is 5 ft. x 5 ft. (1.45m square), perfectly embroidered in minute detail and vibrant colour.

As the story unfolds, panel by panel, the viewer discovers tales of native people and places, artists and writers, 450 symbols and crests and much-much more!

Pauline is now looking for a PERMANENT PLACE AND HOME for these Exquisite Tapestries, which will be a great asset to an approved Gallery.
